Spellbinders top 24!

I have to share my happy news.  I've been selected as one of the top 24  for the Spellbinders Design Team.   I recognize a few names off of the list- I am very honored to be included!  The top 24 will receive product to work with, submit a project, then we will be notified if we make it the the "final design team" on Feb. 25th.
I thought I would share one of the projects I made for the contest.  This is a 12x12 layout.  I used the gorgeous spellbinder leaves dies to cut and emboss the metallic leaves.  Also the Labels 1 dies for the journaling pannel.  As usual, I think it is much better in real life. I am still working on my photo skills. 

Pierced

I finally scrapbooked after taking a few months off.  Here is a page I did using the cute photos of my daughter.  She is 4, and wanted her ears pierced. My mom, sister, and I took her to the mall in Lewiston, Idaho and had a friend do them for us.  She was SO Brave but did cry.  I bought her lip gloss and she instantly stopped crying. 

Supplies: Basic Grey Patterned Paper and Tag.  SU Scallop punch and circle punches.  Misc. flowers and brads for embellishments. 

Easter Egg Hunting

I finally scrapbooked some pictures today. These pictures are from Easter this year, hunting eggs in our backyard.  You gotta love the weather here in Vegas- notice Saryn is wearing a dress, and it was 7:30 in the morning!!  Most of the supplies are from a kit I bought from Heartsring Designs. 

My 1st Post

  Here I go... entering blog land. I thought I would start out with a scrapbook page I completed last week. I am more of a card maker, so this is unusual for me to actual get a layout completed - within 1 hour too!  My 2 kids had so much fun at the dentist - Hopefully my pictures show some of the fun.

Details of the layout: Stampin Up Brilliant Blue Cardstock is the base.  I used a brown bazill paper with my cricut to cut out the title dentist and layer behind the striped paper.  Old Olive SU cardstock is behind the polka dot frame.  Frames, fun block, and patterned paper all from wild asparagus.  I used the stampin up round tab punch and added brown eyelets
