Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #18

 

Seriously - 3 posts in one day?  I couldn't resist Dawn's color combination this week.  I already had raspberry ink on that gorgeous stamp, so I figured why mess with a good thing!!  Super fun rhinestones and ribbon were the perfect finishing touches.  DeNami Happy Birthday stamps is one of my favorites, I seem to use it often! DeNami glitter - so fun!

I'm patiently awaiting my parents arrival.  They are driving from Washington State to Vegas and will be arriving sometime this afternoon or evening.  My house is as clean as it is going to get, kids at school, perfect time to create a card!  Thanks for a fun color combo Dawn - and her Chicago pictures were so fun to look at.  Check them out if you have time!

Surprise Visit & Loads of Card Kits

I haven't posted anything in FOREVER - but I've been stamping like crazy!! Just happens to be work stuff.  The picture on the left is a DeNami Blitz class.  10 cards, 20 cards of each.  So, 200 cards total.  The picture on the right is Blitz 1 and Blitz 2 PRE-STAMPED card kits.  So, if I did the math right that is 400 pre-stamped cards.  Now you know why I've been a bad blogger.

This beautiful woman is the other reason I've been away from blog land.  I answered the door at 8:30 in the morning last Friday -expecting a neighbor kid needed a ride to school. Nope, my sister was standing there!! My jaw dropped open, I cried, and I just stood there.  I can't believe she kept it a secret since July.  When I saw her in July I knew I wouldn't see her again till after my little nephew was born in December. We had a fabulous extended weekend together. 

Embellish the CURE with Bling

My friend Paulina made a fabulous card for this challenge  -- Embellish Magazine.  In support of breast cancer awareness month the challenge was to use hot pink, light pink, and grey.  Once I saw Paulina's card, I knew right away that I had to use my new PTI Guide Lines Set.   I needed some major inspiration, since I haven't made a card in almost a few weeks! This sweet little card is for my best friends little daughter.  London will be turning 2 on Halloween.  I wanted her card to be girly and look nothing like Halloween.  I must say that I think I "need" the charcoal grey from PTI now, this light grey just didn't do much for me.  Oh well, trying to use what I have.
