Basic Papertrey Baby

 

 

Nice Title today - huh. It is exactly that - Basic Grey Patterned Paper plus some gorgeous Papertrey Ribbon & stamps = some beautiful simple baby girl cards.  I added some sparkly stickles to the edge of the scallop oval, otherwise I though they looked clean and simple.  These will got to a friend that sells gorgeous bracelets, keychains, and more.  You can check out her website  here.   I have a mom's bracelet that says Kasen & Saryn (my kids). I bought one for my mom that says "Grammy".  I have bought a few other one's for Christmas gifts.  She does gorgeous work, and somehow keeps her prices way too low!  If you order something, make sure you tell her Wendy that makes cards sent you!  I love advertising for friends that deserve it!

Full Moon Halloween

  

1 more Halloween Post.  Tomorrow I have some baby cards to share.  I'm still filling my card basket with simple cards, so these will be added to the collection.  It isn't even October yet, so I am early for once!  I want to start fall cards soon, since it is still over 100 in Vegas!!

Supplies: SU Patterned Paper, Eggplant CS, black grosgrain ribbon.  Memento Black Ink, Papertrey Stamps, Happy Halloween Saying from Studio G -Michaels $1 bin.  Added a little green stickles to the border around the black cat, cut the circle's with my nesties. 

Webbed Witch

 

I like the traditional Halloween Colors - so I kept this card orange and black and threw in a little bit of kraft color.  Quick and easy to mass produce... that's what I am doing this week.

Bright Halloween Cards

 

 

Super Simple Halloween Cards for my card basket.  I sell them cheap, so I need to make them quickly.  I made these for kids, so the bright colors are perfect.

Supplies: SU Lovely Lilac, Green Galore & Basic Black CS. Reminisce Scary Spots Patterend Paper.  Purple Staples, Papertrey Stamps & Studio G $1 Saying from Michaels, Happy Halloween Ribbon from Big Lots.  Lime Green Stickles and Cob Web Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.  Nestabilities Circle & Scalloped Circle Dies.

Baby Shower Thank-You

 

 

You know if I make baby shower invitations, that means I must make the mom to be some baby shower thank-you's.  The shower was this afternoon, and I just made these last night. I made a set of 12, in less than a hour.  I just made them postcard style, which I actually think is perfect.  It took 1/2 the supplies, a little faster, and you know the recipient of that card is just going to toss it - right?  I made them all different, so it was fun to play.  I stuck with the pink/brown colors she chose and I think they turned out perfect.  Finished it off with some gorgeous DeNami ribbon around a Papertrey Clear Box, and a cute tag.  I didn't even have to make her another card, the tag worked perfect.

Supplies: SU Pretty in Pink ink, Vintage Sepia Versafine Brown Pad.  Bazzill Pink CS, Papertrey Ink Chocolate Brown CS, SU Patterned Paper.  Misc. stamps from SU and Papertrey were mostly used.  Word Punch from SU.  DeNami pink ribbon & Silver Ribbon. SU scallop punch, and circle punch. Copic Markers, Pink Stickles.

Baby Shower Invites

 

I adore this sweet Karen Lockhart stamp.  I bought it from  Ellen Hutson online store.  The mom to be chose pink and brown for her colors, so it was easy to make cute invites.  I made 25 of them - made them simple so I could reproduce them quickly.  Stamped in Vintage Sepia Versafine Ink and colored in with copics.  Added a little sparkle to the ice cream with some stickles.

5 Weeks in a row participating in Kristina's Challenge. I think I am hooked! 

 Well, I now know I have too much patterned paper accumulated.  I can dig until I find the color combo I need, and still have several choices. I will have to take a picture someday to show you all of it.  I am trying to go through all of it and get rid of what I don't LOVE.  Does anyone have an organization to donate supplies to?  If so, please commment or email me so I can pass some along. 

I have had this cute little DeNami pumpkin chick sitting on my shelf.  I thought he would be harder to use, because he is so small. But now that I have him colored, I think he is so cute!   I needed a sentiment to finish it off, and I remembered this cute one from Paper Trey. Easy, but I like it.

Birdie Birthday

   

My mother loves birds, birdhouses, and birdfeeders... so I had to pick up this stamp when I saw it.  It is an Inkadinkado Stamp, the number on the side is 98161-LL.  I purchased it when I was working at Stamping Details in Poway, CA this spring.... and I am finally getting a chance to use it.  I love the image becasue of all the detail, but no coloring needed makes it quick. The pretty border on the left is a stamp from the Hero Arts Clear Design Trees, Birds and Messages Set.

4 Weeks in a row participating in Kristina's color challenge. I am so proud!  I have made square cards the last few weeks - so I thougth I would change it up and make a circle card using my old Creative Memories cutting system.  I dug through my patterned paper until I found something that was similar in colors, I don't have all of the ink and SU paper, so I matched as close as I could.  After I finished the card and tied the bow, I thought to myself "does that look like a Christmas ornament?"  I guess I should have used Merry Christmas instead of Happy Birthday.

Supplies:
PP: Chatterbox Loft Flowering Vine  CS: PT White, Stampin Up Soft Sky, Regal Rose, Bazzill Burgundy.  The light pink is the back side of the PP.  Stamp: DeNami Design Saying & PT polka dot.  INK: Purely Pomegranite, Regal Rose, Bashful Blue. Ribbon: SU. Sakura gel pen used to highlight the saying and to make the dot border on the scallop edge.  SU scallop edge punch.  Creative Memories Circle Cutting System.

Thanks for looking. I can't wait to see what other people come up with. I think this is the hardest challenge so far, but mostly because I was lacking in ink and CS colors. 

Wedding Cards

 

I carry a basket of cards with me to my daughters ballet class and play group.... I have had a few requests for wedding cards so I whipped up some simple one's this weekend to add to the for sale basket.  The above black & white card is a quick one, yet still has some pretty bling.  The brides veil and dress is super sparkly, my camera just didn't pick that up this morning.  Saying from Savvy Stamps & the bride and groom is an Amuse Stamp.  DeNami ribbon and silver paper. SU word punch and Mary oval punches.

   

I have a whole pile of new embossing folders to try out... so I thought the birdie one could make a good wedding card. I used SU Cream, Papertrey aqua mist and blush cardstock.  I added a gold brad and used gold liquid pearl to add some detail to the scallop SU punched circle.  Bride & Groom sentiment from PaperTrey, stamped with Versamagic Chalk Aquatic Splash Pad. DeNami ribbon.
